These did not make the June 6 print edition. Here are the police reports for MAY, 2014

5-4-14 – police responded to a report of a fight that occurred at Sundowners. 2 male individuals were charged in Municipal Court with one count each of disorderly conduct.

5-4-14 – police took a criminal damage report in the 100 Block of S. Ozark. Damage was estimated at $300.00.

5-5-14 – a burglary report was taken in the 100 Block of S. Ozark. $898.00 in cash was taken.

5-5-14 – police responded to a call about a battery in the city limits. A 32 year old female was charged in Municipal Court with battery.

5-6-14 – a theft report was taken in the 100 Block of N. Ozark. Item taken was valued at $300.00.

5-7-14 – a 22 year old male was arrested and charged with driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and no seat belt in the 300 Block of S. Cherokee.

5-7-14 – police responded to a call about a fight in the city limits. Police arrested a 19 year old female for disorderly conduct. Charges were filed in Municipal Court.

5-8-14 – police responded to a call of a disorderly subject in the 200 Block of N. Enterprise Drive in the city limits. Police arrested a 19 year old female for disorderly conduct.

5-11-14 – police arrested a 46 yr. old male for a failure to appear warrant from the District Court of Crawford County, Kansas.

5-11-14 – police responded to a call about a dog bite in the 100 Block of S. Carbon. A complaint was issued to a 53 year old male for dog at large and unlicensed dog and keeping a vicious animal.

5-13-14 – police arrested a 29 year old male for reckless driving and possession of depressant in the 200 Block of N. Summit.

5-13-14 – police arrested a 47 year old male on a failure to appear warrant from Crawford County District Court.

5-13-14 – a minor 2 vehicle accident was reported in the 400 Block of N. Summit.

5-15-14 – police took a report of the theft of a bicycle in the 100 Block of S. Cherokee. The bike was recovered from the 400 Block of N. Carbon a little while later.

5-18-14 – police took a report in the 500 Block of S. Ozark for a mis-appropriated vehicle. Value was listed at $1500.00.

5-20-14 – police responded to a call of someone falling and cutting their leg. A 40 year old female was transported to the Girard Medical Center by ambulance.

5-23-14 – police responded to a call of a individual trespassing. A male individual was advised not to return to the residence.

5-23-14 – police responded to a call about a dog bite. A 12 year old female was bit by a dog in the 100 Block of S. Carbon. A male was issued a citation for dog at large and keeping a vicious animal. Dog was impounded.

5-25-14 – police responded to a call of domestic battery in the city limits. A 23 year old male was arrested for domestic battery. Municipal Court charges were filed.

5-25-14 – police responded to a call of domestic battery in the city limits. A 45 year old male was arrested for domestic battery. Municipal Court charges were filed.

5-25-14 – police responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in the city limits. A 45 year old male and a 52 year old female were arrested for disorderly conduct. Municipal Court charges were filed on both.

5-26-14 – police responded to a call of aggravated burglary in the 200 Block of S. Carbon. Police arrested a 21 year old male for aggravated burglary. Municipal Court charges were filed.

5-27-14 – police responded to a call of criminal damage to property. Property damage was estimated at $300.00.

5-30-14 – police took a report of identity fraud in the 400 Block of N. Cherokee. Loss was estimated at $725.00.

5-20-14 – police responded to a call of a theft in the 600 Block of W. St. John. Item stolen was a 2004 GMC Canyon pickup. Value was estimated at $5000.00. Vehicle was later recovered in Tulsa, OK.
