▸▸ Elijah “Eli” Cade Tucker, 23, of Humboldt, KS, passed away on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, KS.

Eli was born in Parsons, KS, at Labette County Medical Center on March 8th, 2003, to Justin and Heidi (Clevenger) Tucker. He attended Girard schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2021. He went on to Highland Community College, where he played football for the Scotties for one season. Upon returning home, Eli attended the NCCC Mitchell Career and Technology Center, graduating with a degree in Electrical Technology. He was employed by TTT Electric in Parsons, KS. In 2023, Eli began guiding waterfowl hunts for Ranch Country Waterfowl in Fall River, KS. He worked there for the last three seasons and was loved by them and their clients.

Eli’s passions were hunting, fishing, and his girlfriend, Hayley. They enjoyed chasing storms and sunsets, bird watching, hunting and fishing together. From an early age, he was a hardcore waterfowl hunter. He was known for getting up before everyone and having everything set up before sunrise. His ability to withstand the cold and elements was well known and respected by many. Eli and his dog, Cane, spent many hours together training, hunting, and enjoying each other’s company. His love of the outdoors was passed down by many generations, and he accompanied his dad, mom, grandpa, uncles, cousins, and friends on many hunting and fishing expeditions from the time he could walk. Besides loving the outdoors, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Eli didn’t care about the material things and was known for his great smile and his huge laugh. Eli loved his family, and especially his cousins, Brett and Ethan. Eli and Ethan had a very special relationship that many say was a bond, tighter than what most brothers have. Eli was also very close to his sisters, Kinley and Gentry. Eli was a superhero to Gentry and Kinley’s protector.

Eli attended Beulah Community Church from birth until the family moved to Humboldt in 2021.

Survivors include Eli’s parents, Justin and Heidi Tucker; sister, Kinley Tucker and her fiancé, Jakob Aguilar; and sister, Gentry Tucker. His girlfriend, Hayley Adams. Grandparents, Jane Tucker, Ron and Kathy Mattox, and Mark Clevenger. Aunts, uncles, and cousins, Jonathon and Stacy Tucker, and their sons, William and Lincoln Tucker. Anthony and Janell Houk, and their children and grandchildren, Brett and Megan Houk, and their son, Hye. Ethan and Emily Houk, and their son, Hunter. Kierstyn Houk and Andrew Houk. Noah and Tara Clevenger and their daughters, Elyse McCarty and her husband, Russell, and Isabel Clevenger. Eric and Miranda Grinnell and her son, Mason Morris. Michael and MacKinzie Maxson, and their sons, Maguire and Monroe Maxson.

Eli was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Tucker, and uncle, Mark Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Parsons Foursquare Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.
