In the first game of Friday night’s action, the St. Paul Lady Indians dominated the Lady Rams in route to a 62-35 victory. St. Paul put the game away early, ending the first quarter with a 28-4 lead. From there on, the Lady Indians were able to get several bench players a lot of minutes. Keyahnah Burk nailed four threes in the game and led the team with 17 points. Ashton Wood scored 13 for St. Paul, and Katelin O’Brien put in 12 points.

With the win, St. Paul improved to 5-0 before winter break.
The Lady Indians will resume action on Tuesday, January 6, at Southeast. In their matchup earlier this season, St. Paul earned a 41-26 victory over the Lady Lancers.
In the boys’ game Friday night, the roles reversed for the two schools, and Riverton completely dominated the game. After one quarter, Riverton held a 28-4 lead, and at halftime the score was 55-11. Riverton took their foot off the gas pedal in the second half, scoring less in the third and fourth combined as they did in either the first or second quarters. After the final buzzer, the Rams held a 78-21 victory. Ryan Schultz of Riverton led all scored with 18 points; Brenden Doherty led the Indians with 13 points which included three treys.

With the loss, the Indians fall to 0-6 on the season and won’t see the floor again until they face Southeast on January 6.
