Ever since their loss on opening day to Sedan, the Indians have been red hot. Winning four straight games since the defeat, outscoring opponents 190-52.
The Indians looked to make it five in a row as they squared off against Marmaton Valley (1-5) Friday night.
Adam Albertini kicked off the game with a 34-yard scramble to put the Indians ahead first. On their next offensive drive, Albertini took another run 32 yards for the touchdown putting the Indians ahead 14-0. From there, the high-powered offense for St. Paul kept delivering blows as the Wildcats had no response.
Marmaton could not keep up with the explosive play of the Indians as St. Paul prevailed 62-14 dominating the Wildcats and capturing their fifth straight win.
In their next matchup, the Indians (5-1) will travel to Chetopa as they face the Hornets (1-4) in a conference matchup. The Indians still currently sit tied at first in their league, looking to capture a title as district play approaches.
