After forcing a mercy rule on their last opponent, the St. Paul Indians looked to carry that momentum against Altoona-Midway.
Altoona-Midway (1-4) came off an impressive 38-14 victory in their previous matchup defeating Chetopa. That energy for the Jets ended abruptly as the Indians offensive power was too much for Altoona, prevailing 52-6.
Altoona-Midway’s low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before. The game pushed Altoona-Midway down to 1-4 and pulled St. Paul up to the reverse at 4-1.
St. Paul (4-1) will move on to face Marmaton Valley (1-4) in a conference matchup. Marmaton Valley played the opponent the Indians faced last week in Crest winning 52-6.
