Robert Lee Crews, 83, of Pittsburg, passed away at 8:45 p.m., Monday, July 5, 2021, at Medicalodges Frontenac.
He was born March 9, 1938, at Pittsburg, KS, the son of Aubrey and Eunice (Morgan) Crews.
On January 31, 1960, he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Burr at the Methodist Church, Pittsburg. She survives of the home.
Mr. Crews served in the United States Army before being Honorably Discharged in 1961.
Employment was held by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Rocketdyne, Goodyear Aerospace and Loral Defense Systems before his retirement. After his retirement he worked for USD 250.
Mr. Crews attended the Cornerstone Church, Pittsburg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael Robert Crews of Phoenix, AZ, one daughter, Debi Dianne Gallagher of Webb City, MO, one brother, Steve Crews of Carthage, MO, one sister, Shirley Dorman of Shreveport, LA, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Aubrey Crews Jr.
A graveside service for Mr. Crews will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Pittsburg, with Pastor Allan Parker officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Cornerstone Church.
