The First Christian Church will be hosting its annual Christmas Homes Tour Sunday, Dec. 4 from 2-5:30 p.m.
This year’s tour features the homes of Blaise and Nancy Bauer, John and Mary Gilpin, Chris and Dawn Paoni, Robert and Meghan Tersinar, Judy Collins, and Craig and Susan Thom. The Historic First Presbyterian Church will also be featured, and will include a life-size nativity scene and refreshments for tour guests. At 3, 4 and 5 p.m., there will also be a brief pipe organ demonstration.
Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the event. Group rates are $40 for five tickets or $8 each for a party of five or more.
In addition to the tour, this year’s event will also include a gift basket raffle. Raffle tickets will be sold in conjunction with tour tickets, and the baskets will be on display in the church parlor for additional raffle sales during the tour.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Buyers will be able to select the baskets they would like to win. The five baskets have themes of $100 Nutcracker, Variety Basket, Cosmetics and Jewelry, KU, and Fiesta Dinnerware and Gourmet Food.
Tour and raffle tickets for the event are available from First Christian Church members, the Girard Chamber of Commerce office, during the Girard Christmas Parade on the east side of the square, or by texting (620) 249-0620.
***There will be a full preview of this tour including themes for each home in this Friday’s Hometown Girard newspaper.
