The St. Paul boys and girls basketball teams both picked up wins over Pleasanton on Tuesday night.
On the boys side, the Indians got out to an early lead and never looked back.
At halftime, St. Paul led 36-18. The Indians were able to extend this lead in both quarters of the second half and walked away with a 67-40 victory.
Brenden Doherty led the charge for the Indians, scoring 18 points on the night.
Dillon Dyke and Jace McCracken also reached double figures, scoring 13 and 10 respectively.
With the win, the boys advanced to an 8-5 record on the year.
On the girls side, the Lady Indians were able to pick up a 58-33 win over Pleasanton.
The team seemed to move the ball well, allowing nine different players to reach the scoring column.
Raquel Rice led the charge for the girls, scoring 10 points on the night.
Katelin O’Brien and Katie Coomes also added nine points a piece for the Lady Indians.
With the win, the girls advanced to an 11-2 record on the season .
Both teams will be back in action next week, as they have a bye this Friday and are not scheduled to play.
