Obituary: Larry George Vogel

Larry George Vogel
December 3, 1950 – September 7, 2016

Larry Vogel, son of George Henry and Della Barbara (Wilschetz) Vogel, passed away September 7, 2016 after a long illness.  He was a life-long resident of Girard, KS.   He was born at Girard hospital and was proceed in death by his mother and father, and two stillborn brothers.

He was a graduate of Girard High School and worked for Midwest Minerals his entire adult life.  He was a life long member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Girard.  .

He never married but lived with his life long friend Audrey Hayt over 40 years.

He is survived by his brother, Leo Eugene Vogel and wife, Beverly Dean (Mengarelli) Vogel of Topeka; a nephew and wife, Andrew Joseph and Janie Vogel, Topeka.

He will be cremated and buried in the Girard Cemetery at his request.  No services are planned.
