Obituary: Jerry Lee Cowan

Jerry Lee Cowan, age 74 of Bolivar passed away October 5, 2018. He was born December 21, 1943 in Girard, Kansas the son of Ralph M. and Mary A. (Winterbower) Cowan. Jerry loved fishing and watching basketball or baseball on TV. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam era.

Preceding him in death are his parents; a brother William Stapleton; and his step-father, William Stapleton, Sr.

Jerry is survived by three children, Todd Cowan and Cheryl, Mandie Cowan and Patrick, and Stacy Eagleburger and Jason; three grandchildren, Isabella Cowan, Kassidie Eagleburger and Patrick Porter, Jr.; a brother, Roger Cowan; a sister, Rebecca Comer; a sister in law, Melinda Stapleton; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Show Me Cowboy Church in Marshfield, MO. Cremation is in the care of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta.
