Obituary: Daniel R. Rice

Daniel R. Rice, 58, of Arma, died at 3:22 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his residence in Arma.
Daniel was born April 15, 1958 in Buffalo, New York, a son of Herbert W. and Helen E. (Ebbs) Rice.
He grew up and attended schools in Girard and Pittsburg.
Daniel enjoyed science fiction and western movies, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his brothers John D. Rice, and his wife, Lora, of Girard, Dale Rice of Arma, and Charles W. Rice of Fort Scott.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard with Pastor Gaylord Demoure officiating.  Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
