Correction on Girard City Council bid

In our Friday, Jan. 26, edition under our Girard City Council recap, we erroneously reported that in the opening of the bids for the terracing of the Girard industrial park, the Council accepted the bid from Ken Johnson at Terrace Construction for $7,425.00.  

The actual accepted bid came from Eddie J. Fox of Fox Construction for $6,975.00. All other items remained the same and the projected completion date is still March 15.

Our apologies to our readers and the City of Girard for the error.
