Celebration slated for field-turf sponsors and donors

 

Friday, September 14, marked the first varsity football game on the new, improved turf field at Girard High School.

In regard to the condition of the field, Superintendent Blaise Bauer added that turf panels are still needed. The panels will be added to the track for advertisements and sponsors. This panel project is set to be completed by homecoming.

During the celebration of homecoming, those who donated or helped the turf efforts will be honored at halftime of the Prairie View vs. Girard homecoming game, October 5.
