St. Paul High School is pleased to announce four Valedictorians for the graduating class of 2016.
All four have maintained a 4.00 grade point average while completing the Kansas Scholars Curriculum.
Josie Albertini is the daughter of Ross & Gina Albertini, and the granddaughter of Frank & Janine Albertini and Joe & Sue Renfro. Josie has played volleyball, basketball, softball and track. She is also active in Student Council, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, CYM (Catholic Youth Ministries) and FFA, where she has served as president for two years. Her future plans include attending NEO A & M in fall, majoring in Ag Business/Accounting.
Christopher Leistikow is the son of Guy & Nita Leistikow , and the grandson of Norman & Marion Leistikow. A Talent Search Ambassador, he has participated in football, baseball and track. An active member of FFA throughout high school, Chris has held an office for three years. Other activities include Scholars Bowl, Student Council, and National Honor Society. He attended the American Legion Boys State program as well as the Cadet Law Enforcement Training Academy. Christopher will pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement at College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO.
Jenny O’Bryan is the daughter of David & Jane O’Bryan, and the granddaughter of Casey & Jenny O’Bryan, and Pete & Dee Seiwert. Jenny’s involvements include Student Council, CYM (Catholic Youth Ministry), National Honor Society, and serving as president of Future Business Leaders of America her junior and senior years. Cross-country team captain for three years, she has won three state titles in both cross-country and track, and hopes to make a fourth appearance in track this May. Jenny is looking forward to becoming a member of the University of Tulsa’s cross country and track teams this fall, where she will seek a degree in Accounting.
Jordyn Tuck is the daughter of Doug & Marti Tuck. She has served as class president all four years, and is currently president of Student Council, as well as vice president of Future Business Leaders of America and a member of National Honor Society. She enjoyed representing St. Paul as a HOBY Ambassador. Jordyn played basketball, volleyball, and swam with the Parsons High School swim team. She will be attending Kansas State University, working towards a degree in Physical Therapy.
