PCT to hold auditions for first show of season

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Auditions are planned for Pittsburg Community Theatre’s first show of the 2018 season: “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” at 7 p.m. on Jan. 8 and 9 at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine.

Greg Shaw, PCT board member and PHS theater director, will direct the musical, which will be performed March 9-11. Vocal direction will be by Mary Jo Harper and the band will be directed by Cooper Neil. The cast requires 12 performers ages 15 years old and older — six for principal roles and six for ensemble roles. Attendance at both audition nights is not required.

Other shows planned by PCT this season include “Sister Act,” the summer musical, and “Balcony Scene,” an after-dark show for mature audiences planned for October. More details can be found at www.pctinfo.org or by following PCT on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pctinfo.
