Charles “Chuck” Norris, 1931-2016

Charles “Chuck” Norris of Austin, TX passed away Nov. 2, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. He had kidney infections and other health issues, however, his death was unexpected. Chuck was one of the triplets (Charles, Harold, and Raymond) that had been recognized as the oldest surviving triplets known in the nation born by C-section. chuck-norris

Chuck was born April 12, 1931 in Walnut, KS to James & Leila Norris. He grew up and completed his education in Walnut.  After high school Chuck was in the Navy for four years, then worked for the State of Texas until his retirement in 1993. He resided in Austin, TX for over 50 years.

Survivors include one daughter Teresa “Terry” Peterson of North Dakota, one granddaughter, two brothers Harold “Shorty” Norris of Girard, KS, Raymond “Slim” Norris of Del City, OK, and one sister Mildred “Corky” Norris of Ellinwood, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ann, three brothers, Kenneth Norris, Bernard Norris, Bill Norris, and two sisters, Loraine Westhoff, and Loretta Guy.

At his request Chuck was cremated, services were held at a later date.
