A Girard restaurant will be moving to a new Pittsburg location in the upcoming months.

Dalton’s Back 9, which has served golfers and community members alike for five years now, will be moving from their current location at the Crawford Hills Golf Course in Girard and relocating to the former Wheat State Pizza building across from the PSU campus.

“We’ve been continuing to grow,” Dalton’s owner Mike Dalton said regarding the reason for their move. “We’ve always had a goal of moving to Pittsburg. We do a lot of catering in addition to our dinners, and our kitchen size right now is just too small to accommodate all of that, so moving to Pittsburg is just the next step in our growth.”

They will continue to cook until September 16.

The move will leave vacant a unique restaurant space for area entrepreneurs, located directly on a beautiful 9-hole golf course.
